• Nick Grimshaw

When interviewing guests, it doesn't sound scripted or rushed as you would hear on a talk show. Instead, the discussion is rather casual, varied and informal, not necessarily staying on subject. Tends to joke around with the guests.

• Trevor Nelson 

Similar to Nick, the chat is pretty casual and varied , not necessarily on music or the celebrities new work etc.

• Greg James  

Before getting into the show, he always gives the date and time, probably so its easier for people who are listening to the show to know the date and time without getting out their phone if its placed in their pocket or if they are driving their car. Very convenient. (NOTE: Since this was the debut of his show, this was probably also done to 'archive' the moment in the way- one for the history books). Presents the same as the last couple of hosts, very casual with presenting the show, sounds rather off the hook than scripted.

• target audience: 15-29 year olds interested in contemporary music and speech. 
• Budget (as of 2016/17):£34.7M.
• 6 million listeners per week.
• BBCR1 Breakfast show initially hosted by Nick Grimshaw until August 1 2018 when he was. swapped with Greg James who hosted the evening "drive home show".
• Aired Mon-Thurs 6:30AM-10:00AM.
