Casting

Name: Tyler Sutton

For my radio show, Tyler lends the voice to the new and upcoming artist, Danielle Drume. I chose Tyler for this role as she can be a mixture of  confident and shy, which I found to be perfect to portray Danielle Drume as, being new to the industry, she would obviously have some shyness, especially since this pilot show is also her first ever appearance/ interview since her single went to no.1 in the UK. Furthermore, Tyler's availability for recording was very flexible, making it easy to record anytime

Name: Daniel Woodburn

Daniel plays the engaging and cheeky host of the show, Andrew Torres. Daniel would be very suitable for the role as, like Tyler his availability is very high and flexible and his personality allows him to have the potential to be a fun and engaging host.

Link to website

First Design- Applying a Basic foundation to the website in order to build upon that, making adjustments where necessary.

Website Design 2- For this I decided to emulate the BBC Radio 1 website, to achieve the sense of branding the briefing demands and for the sole basis that, if the Radio show is for BBC Radio 1, you wouldn't expect there to be a drastic change in website design .

Website design 3- made some minor adjustments to the main/centre section of the website as well as create an original backdrop for the website (which can be seen in the product style profile), which has been inspired by the initial backdrop that BBC Radio One has.

Location Information

Location: Harris Academy Chafford Hundred-Sound room

This location is suitable as it is designed to be sound proof, enabling me to make as much sound as needed for this project. Furthermore, since only audio content is needed for the main task of the project, there is no need to worry about the aesthetics of the room.

Potential Hazards

Hazard No.1- loose wires: there are a lot of loose wires around  the studio, so it's important that I get these cleared out of the way so no one is at risk of tripping.

Hazard Rating: 4/10

Hazard No.2- Fire extinguisher: The fire extinguisher is not placed on the hook in the room (replaced with a trash bin). So, it is important that I place the extinguisher in a safe place. so it wont fall onto someone.

Hazard Rating: 2/10

Hazard No.3- It's a small room: The sound room is very small with a lot of items placed into it. So, it is important that  no one trips over these items or causes these items to fall injuring them selves and/or others, or break the items in the process.

Hazard Rating: 3/10
